GENEALOGY (FAMILY HISTORY) COURSES(Group Codes: GEN ans GEN2 ) ....
GEN group:This group was founded September 2009. Various aspects of Family History are researched and computers are used to access the internet so a basic knowledge of computers is fairly essential. Depending on demand and resources, there are up to 2 courses per year. Each course is held on Wednesday mornings at 10 till 12am fortnightly at 3Cs on Hightown, Crewe Starting from basics you will be shown how to start researching your Family History. Most of the work will be by the use of computers at the centre. There will be a charge of £5 for the first session and then £16 for the remaining sessions or £20 for the whole course, payable at the first session with no refunds. GEN2 group:There is also a 2nd group being set up for alternate Tuesdays starting 6th September at 1:30 till 3:30pm This is intended for those who have already attended the first course and who wish to continue researching with help and also talks on further areas. Any suggestions for the course welcome.
